Our 9 mm Wide Mouth Vials and Closures are our recommended screw thread vials. These vials are autosampler compatible and offer a 40% larger opening than 8-425 thread vials, simplifying pipetting and other routine functions. Aijiren Tech offers 9 mm screw thread vials in clear and amber glass, as well as polymeric options and mass spec quality glass.
Aijiren 2 mL snap top vials are constructed from Type 1 borosilicate glass, with low metal content, to protect your sample from destabilizing or leaching. The associated 11/12 mm snap caps come with your choice of cap septa constructed from either PTFE/silicone or natural red rubber.
Features of the Wide-Mouth screw neck. Wide-Mouth screw vials have a 10-425 screw thread. The first number defines the outer diameter of the screw thread (10 mm). The second number defines a typical screw cap type with a relatively short screw thread.

Snap seal vials are less prone to breakage during decapping because more glass is used in the neck of the vial. The snap seal neck finish is compatible with either crimp and/or snap seals and no special tools are required to remove the cap.

Choose by Neck Size. Choose glass bottles and containers by the neck size or closure size. This is useful for people who already have bottle caps and need to find a container that fits a specific closure such as 38-400. Closure sizes can be written with either a dash or a slash, so a 38-400 cap can also be written as a 38/400 cap.
